DESCRIPTION:Two butterflies within 24 hours of emerging from their chrysalises. Whether in the wild or indoors, this transformation takes about ten days but can take slightly longer if temperatures are low. After they emerge, they will pump fluid into their wings and let them air dry. This is why you should NEVER touch a butterfly for the first 3 hours after it emerges from the chrysalis.
